What People Say

"You have a great knack of finding ways to exercise all of my muscles with very little equipment! It just shows that there is no excuse for not being able to exercise!" Tony Burgess, Director, Academy of High Achievers - Academy of High Achievers (AHA)

"To include a fitness trainer (Steve Halls) in the presentation team was a stroke of genius. Feeling myself wanting to join in with the early morning walks, jogs, and swims was tremendous and down to the sense of safety that came from Steve's understanding of everyone's physical capabilities". Bryn Jones, Inspirer and Coach, SometimeNOW - SometimeNOW

"At times you'll hate him, swear at him and punch him but you can't help loving Steve.. he makes pain worthwhile and can do fab things for your body, but above all, he'll help you to feel proud of yourself!!" Janine Machin, Breakfast Show Presenter, BBC Radio Stoke BBC Radio Stoke, Janine's website

Steve has the ability to know when to push you harder and when to back off. There is a fine line between motivating a person and de-motivating them. Steve seems to have found that balance. A sense of humour is essential as sometimes the student can be a little harsh on the trainer! He is very understanding of the needs of the client. I had always considered a Personal Trainer as a luxury but now wonder if it is something which, like a mortgage, is part of your life. Heather Bayliss, Sales Manager, Royal Doulton

"I will continue to use Steve's help and would recommend him to anyone who wanted to lose weight or generally get in shape. I have also seen what he's done for several friends of mine and the results he's achieved have been nothing short of amazing". Richard Swancott, PR Consultant, Market Care PR Market Care PR

"Thanks for getting my life back on track this year!! I know that sounds a bit OTT, but it's true. As an accountant I have been in a very sedentary job for the past 21 years. Gradually I had gained weight and become less fit and used the excuse of being too busy in my own business to do anything about it. You have enabled me to find a way of putting my health first. Richard Winton, Chartered Accountant, Wintons Chartered Accountants Wintons Limited, Chartered Accountants

"I wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you for all your support, encouragement, advice, friendliness and wicked sense of humour together with the challenges you set me. You are a highly motivational Personal Trainer with so much patience and so much humour". Kevin Lamb - NLP Practitioner, Acetate Products Ltd.

"Thank you for seeing me through to retirement. This has been a great success and i am grateful to you for your skill and your massive enthusiasm. I hope i may obtain your excellent training as and when needed in the future". Merrilyn Coutouvidis - Retired Head Teacher, Abbey Hill School.

Knowing that you enjoy helping others create the life that they want means that you touch people’s lives with your fun and easy way of getting and staying fit and healthy. Thank you for that energy that you have shown me that I can have any time I choose.

You share your “gift” to enable everyone you meet and have contact with, to see and enjoy their own inner resources, to the full. Your approach to life and your ability to share so much of “you” with each of us is natural, caring and liberating. You touch lives with an ease and care that empowers and inspires us all.
Tony Altham – Adgifts Online.

What can I say, thank you just does not seem to be adequate for the way you have changed my life. Your energy levels are amazing, your confidence and humour shine through, you know just exactly how to motivate, push, and encourage to get the best out of everyone, whatever level they are at, whatever place they are in. What a remarkable gift. Well Steve, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Neil Hewitt – Magical Mind Healing Hands

I had it on “good authority” that I would not run again in my life because of my knee. Well Steve, I know that you knew differently all along. In other words, in Steve’s world I can now run, and I can and do. The choice was mine, and is always that. Your passion and energy are contagious for me. In my world you are “the giant who helps me to “exercise with laughter”, to “ache with a smile” and to rest with a positive mind. What an awesome trainer you are.
Thera Tolner – Business Coach

You are absolutely brilliant. Your sensitivity and warmth and your massive humour has been and will continue to be an experience I will never forget. I’ve seen and felt the passion you generate and consider it a privilege to have met you and spent time in your company. Thanks Steve
Sean Keogh – Action Coach

For me, you have opened my eyes to the certainty I have within myself, and my determination to look after myself in the physical sense. The improvements to my running have been a breakthrough and I have renewed my enthusiasm and excitement about maintaining a regular exercise regime. You’re an amazing person, who’s massive sense of humour and cheeky smile will add cheer to my “torture”. Thanks for re-igniting my passion for exercise and well-being.
Jane Keogh – Action Coach

On a very wet night we experienced the driest of humour from Staffordshire’s Steve Halls.  Steve is a picture of health – while many of us munched on sandwiches and cream cakes, he happily drank several litres of water.  Some trainers advocate their way is the only way.  Not Steve, his approach acknowledges that the individual must determine the correct regime, varying from the amount of exercise needed, to the sorts of diet selected.  His pragmatic self-effacing style is a winner, and with a success record, bags of energy, and enthusiasm, Steve’s story fully justified any travel challenges on the night.
David Miskimin – Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. (CIPD) North Staffs and South Cheshire Branch.

Steve reminded us of all those things we know we should be doing – but often don’t.  Like putting “Health Before Wealth”, eating well, drinking plenty of water and exercising regularly.  Steve reminded us that many people take better care of their car than they do of themselves.
