Janine Machin trains for the Mow Cop "Killer Mile".
Quite a few training sessions were carried out on the hill itself. One memorable one was where it was raining so hard the road turned into a raging torrent of a river. Janine put on about 3 stone in weight in water by the time we finished that run.
Much of our training was carried out in the gym doing circuit training to build a fantastic base level of fitness. Her record of 52 full press-ups will be hard to beat.

A lot of endurance work was carried out on the Concept 2 rowing machine. The smiles just goes to prove that exercise can be fun.
